Current Writing Projects
The Men's Group: A Novel
Since February 2016, I've been working on a novel with executive coach and Dudes of Disruption radio show host, Nick Papadopoulos. Our novel is about men and the difference they make when they live authentically and trust themselves. We're currently working on the final draft.
Past Writing Projects
The Food Travels of a Coffee Snob
From February 2012 through June 2013, I wrote a food blog documenting the travels of my insatiable palette. While the food was a focal point of the blog, my writing focused mainly on the story of each meal. I developed a philosophy that the ingredients that make a great meal are the people I'm with and the conversations I have, not the gustatory delights on my plate.
The Nameless Bards
In December 2013, I launched an online literary journal called The Nameless Bards, a collection of short stories by anonymous authors. At the time, I believed that it was important to show that anyone can tell a story and it doesn't matter who they are. The journal continued for several months, with a few other authors contributing, before I allowed the demands of New York life to get in the way.
During my senior year at Kenyon College in 2013, I was hired as one of several student bloggers to create a blog for the admissions department. I used the opportunity to share my experience at Kenyon and also as a platform for my non-food writing.
Dudes of Disruption Blog
In March 2018 and March 2019, my Men's Group - The Dudes of Disruption - spearheaded two fundraising events for the HEART in Haiti School (2018 & 2019) and My Sisters' Place (2019). Between the two years, we raised almost $90,000. During both endeavors, I wrote blogs for our projects to share our progress with our supporters.
